Why nudge and notes exists
For more than 11 years, I’ve stood in front of classrooms teaching how the human body works how this incredible machine can carry out so much of its work on its own.
And somewhere along the way, I realised I had started doing the same thing with my life.
I was living on autopilot. Life kept moving, but I wasn’t really participating in it. And before I knew it, 11 years had passed.
I realised I needed to take things back into my own hands.
Science tells us that putting our thoughts into words can help us process them, organise them, and actually notice what’s going on in our minds. So I started journaling.
But I quickly realised that journaling had become another thing that felt performative. The pressure to somehow do it “right” was real.
I wanted something simple. Something that helped me hear my own thoughts without making journaling another task on my list.
So I created a method for myself.
I stuck with it. And slowly, I started hearing my internal voice again. I felt more present in my own life. More aware of what was going on instead of simply moving from one thing to the next.
That’s how nudge & notes was born.
nudge & notes is for the woman who wants to feel more in control of her own life. The woman who wants to hear her internal voice again, notice what’s actually going on beneath the noise, and stop living on repeat.
